According to the NUJ the current round of cutbacks at the BBC will see up to 1,000 journalism jobs going – with investigative and regional journalism being particularly hard hit.
I think I have found a way to save all those jobs and do Britain a great public service.
Terminate everyone involved in the Beeb’s vomit-inducing Christmas promotional advert. That should save more than enough cash from the ‘talent’ budget to save news from the axe and really be a kindness to many of them.
