Waters named Eastern Daily Press deputy editor

By Press Gazette

Former publishing editor of the Eastern Daily Press's Saturday magazine Peter Waters has returned to the newspaper as deputy editor.

Waters left the paper in 2001 to publish a group of Cheltenham county magazines owned by the EDP's parent company Archant.

He said: "Being Norfolk born and bred I'm very aware that the EDP is woven into the fabric of the region and I look forward to working with the team to help continue the development of what is a special newspaper in a very special part of the country."

Waters replaces EDP contributor James Ruddy who left the paper this year to work in the health service.

The Eastern Daily Press is the biggest selling morning paper in the country with a circulation of 68,504.
