An American version of OK! is on the launch pad.
The plan was
confirmed by publisher Richard Desmond, who hopes to have the US
version of the UK celebrity weekly on the newsstands by the end of the
year.
It will be edited by former OK! editor NicolaMcCarthy, who has been working in the US as executive editor of US magazine.
The
offer to McCarthy to rejoin her old company has reportedly upset Jann
Wenner, publisher of US, who is said to be consulting lawyers.
