I enjoyed reading the interview with Eric Gordon (26 August), but it
is somewhat fanciful for Press Gazette to claim that the fledgling
Islington Tribune played any part in Archant’s decision to stop
publishing the Highbury&Islington Express.
The facts are that
Archant already publishes the area’s biggest-selling weekly newspaper,
that is the Islington Gazette, and has recently launched the
20,000-distribution Camden Gazette in Camden Town and Kentish Town.
