Tri-weekly first for CosmoGIRL

By Press Gazette

CosmoGIRL magazine will increase its frequency from monthly to
tri-weekly from mid-March, a publishing first, according to the
National Magazine Company.
NatMags says the move “reflects reading habits within the teenage
sector and a more demanding appetite for news and views.”
The title’s editorial content and price will remain the same.
Jan Adcock, Cosmopolitan group publishing director, said: “Our consistent interaction with
our readers has enabled us to understand their desire for increased frequency.
The mindset and lifestyle of a teenager is based around weeks not months – they want more and we are responding to that.
“By increasing frequency against a growing readership, we are
offering advertisers more opportunities to reach a lucrative,
product-hungry market.”
