The tabloid Times will be in the hands of readers in Scotland, Wales and the West Country from next Tuesday as the newspaper aims to push the proportion of tabloid to broadsheet sales to more than 50 per cent.
Deadlines have had to be rescheduled to an earlier time to get the tabloid offstone in time for transport to the new distribution areas. Only Ireland will remain without a choice.
