Tabloid makeover for golf trade magazine

By Press Gazette

The publishers of golf trade magazine Golf Course News International (GCNI) have hired Paul McCartney’s controversial ex-PR manager, Geoff Baker, to give the title a tabloid-friendly makeover.

Baker, who has written a novel about life as a PR to a top rock star that has been rejected by libel-wary publishers, has admitted in the tabloids that he based his front cover shot — of a long-haired "birdie babe" with a golf ball in her cleavage — on Heather Mills McCartney.
