The people behind women’s website handbag.com have launched a “younger sister” called getlippy.com. The site, aimed at women aged 18 to 24, is hoping to attract 60,000 readers within the first month. Editor Kate Creasey said it would talk to women in their own language and give them a “snapshot of what’s hot in the worlds of fashion, beauty and celebrity, while offering responsible and ethical answers to some of their more serious questions”.
