The Citizen newspaper, Gloucester, has made a number of promotions
in its news team. Stephanie Preece has been promoted from deputy news
editor to news editor. Preece joined The Citizen in January from the
Oxford Mail where she was news editor. Jenny Eastwood, who was with The
Citizen’s sister paper the Lincolnshire Echo, joins as assistant news
editor.
Matt Holmes and Bev Hawes remain as assistant editor and chief news editor respectively.
