Sarah Jones has been appointed head of public affairs for the NHS Confederation, where she will lead a team of six.
She
previously worked for the housing charity Shelter for four years,
winning the PR Week 2004 award for best public affairs campaign.
Before
joining Shelter, she was a parliamentary researcher for Labour MPs Mo
Mowlam and Geraint Davies, and was briefly a press officer for the
Labour Party during the 1997 general election campaign.
