New property mag promises top editorial

By Press Gazette

Editorial content is to play a major part in a glossy monthly
property magazine to be launched in the Surrey and Hampshire area today
(Friday).

Herald Homes is being launched in a 24-page tabloid
format to be distributed to nearly 40,000 homes across the Surrey and
Hants borders.

Most will go out with the Farnham Herald series of
newspapers and the remainder through property outlets such as estate
agent offices.

Herald general manager Rosie Prior stressed the
importance of editorial content at the lunch to celebrate the launch of
the magazine at Farnham.

“Pages have been set aside for a good
editorial coverage of the property scene in the area. We want people to
read the magazine for its information as much as for the property
advertising it contains.”

Individual towns will be profiled
monthly, along with news items such as local school league tables, to
give people planning to move into the area an idea of where is best for
their children.

Herald Homes is a part of the Tindle Newspaper
group and the launch brings the number of newspaper titles and radio
stations controlled by Sir Ray Tindle up to 215.
