Future has acquired the US guitar magazine Guitar One from Cherry Lane Magazines for £1.5m. The acquisition follows the purchase of Guitar World in September.
Guitar One sells around 140,000 copies a month and declared a turnover for the year ending 31 December 2002, of $4.7m (£2.8m). Nine staff will transfer to Future’s New York office as part of the acquisition.
