Members of the British Association of Journalists working on Mirror Group Newspaper’s London titles are planning to take the first in a series of six two-hour strikes this afternoon in protest at plans drawn up by the publisher to make around 200 job cuts and transfer a sizable chunk of its sub-editing to the Press Association.
