Entries are being sought for the second Merseyside Media Network Journalism Awards to be held in Liverpool in June.

by Littlewoods, the categories include: News Journalist of the Year;
Features Journalist of the Year; Sports Journalist of the Year;
Photojournalist of the Year; Freelance of the Year; Scoop of the Year;
Designer of the Year; Newcomer of the Year; Broadcaster of the Year;
Student Journalist of the Year and Littlewoods Business Journalist of
the Year. Each award carries a £100 prize, with £500 for Merseyside
Journalist of the Year.

All monies raised by ticket sales and
raffles at the event, to be staged at the Holiday Inn Lime Street on
Friday 10 June, will go to media-related charities including the
Newspaper Press Fund.
