British black and Asian students who are studying for a journalism qualification have been invited to apply for a scholarship from the George Viner Memorial Fund.
The scheme covers all recognised journalism courses starting in the academic year 2004/5. The George Viner Memorial Fund scholarship includes money to cover course fees or other expenses, access to a mentor and careers guidance.
The fund is a registered charity run by the NUJ.
