Media Week has appointed Kevin May, above, as senior reporter on its editorial team under editor Tim Burrowes, who joined the title from Hospital Doctor just before Christmas. May joins from the Essex Enquirer, where he was a reporter and sub-editor. Prior to that he worked as a freelance for a year while travelling in south-east Asia, India and Nepal. During this time he wrote for Haymarket title Revolution about the development of IT in Nepal. After leaving school at 17, May worked at the Police Gazette as a reporter and researcher. He left to study criminology and then did a PMA postgraduate course, before joining the Enquirer.
