Magazine ABCs: Consumer mags emerge from recession in good shape

More than one billion consumer magazines were sold in 2009 – and consumer mag sales dropped just 1.3 per cent overall in the second half of the year.

It seems the magazine industry has emerged from recession in much better shape than the regional and national press or broadcasting.
