Men’s lifestyle magazine Maxim has relaunched its website in an attempt to double the numbers using the site – it currently attracts 250,00o visitors. Targeted at men aged 25 to 34, the site is updated on a daily basis and features highlights from the magazine as well as reviews and articles unique to the website. It has been designed to provide easier navigation, ensuring that userss don’t have to scroll down to read articles. There are also links to film and sound clips to accompany music and film features. The “Spice” section, which is unique to the website, includes links to mobile phones and allows visitors to upload pictures and build their own online photo album. In addition, a dating service matches users with their ideal partners and allows them to exchange messages.
