Haymarket rings the changes at motoring and caravan titles

By Press Gazette

Haymarket has announced a number of changes at the helm of its motoring and caravan titles.

Steve
Fowler is to return to the day-to-day editorship of What Car? after two
years as group editor. He will continue to oversee all What Car?
products while running the magazine, which has been through a six-month
redesign.

Fowler previously edited What Car? between 1999 and
2002, before joining sister title Autocar as editor, moving to edit
Haymarket’s market-leading home entertainment title What Hi-Fi?, Sound
and Vision in 2003 before returning to What Car? in 2005.

Alex
Newby will join as managing editor, having previously edited sister
title Practical Caravan. Her brief will include developing the
magazine¹s appeal to female car buyers, who are now responsible for
five million car purchases a year.

David Motton will take over
the editorship of Practical Caravan after two years at the helm of What
Car? He worked on What Car? since 1999 and previously on Motor Sport
and Classic & Sports Car.
