Haymarket feels nurse market pulse

By Press Gazette

A weekly magazine for nurses is being launched by Haymarket Medical Publications covering political, clinical and business issues.

There will be nine editorial staff on the magazine, six of whom have already been selected. Positions are still available for a senior reporter, a production editor and a senior sub-editor.

Emma Bower, who is features editor at another of Haymarket’s medical titles, GP, will edit the new title. She joined GP a year ago after three years editing Health Management , the magazine for the Institute of Healthcare Management’s 9,000 members. She has also edited other titles in the healthcare management sector.

Colin Cooper is editor-in-chief and also oversees Haymarket’s GP MedEconomics and its website www.GPonline.com.

He said: “Emma is a very experienced editor with all the skills to edit a new launch. She has done a fantastic job at GP, it was obvious when she started there that she was going to be editor material.”

The title is expected to be available by January.
