Joseph Galliano is the new editor of Gay Times.
Galliano was previously deputy editor of the Millivres lifestyle monthly and has freelanced for The Guardian, I.D. magazine and Bizarre. He replaces Vicky Powell, who left the title earlier this year to work for gay rights campaigners, Stonewall.
Galliano said that in his new role he would be "looking at the title from the ground up". On challenges ahead, he added: "The glossy magazine industry is rapidly changing and we need to be able to reach readers by embracing new technologies. We have been enthusiastically embracing these here at Gay Times, spending a lot of time speaking to readers directly and creating a two way dialogue with them."
