Future appoints PC Gamer editors

By Press Gazette

Future has named Mark Donald, former editor of its Official PlayStation Magazine, as the new editor of PC Gamer and Lee Hall as editor of its spin-off series PC Gamer Presents….

Donald takes over from Matt Pierce, who has been promoted to senior editor. Donald joined Future in 1996 as a staff writer before moving up to become associate editor on PC Gamer. In 1999 he became associate editor of the Official PlayStation Magazine before taking on the editorship and overseeing a redesign in 2000. Two years later, he was credited with the launch of Xbox Gamer and more recently has been development editor for the Future Games division.

Hall joined Future in 2000 as staff writer on the Official PlayStation Magazine.

He was promoted to features editor, then deputy editor, before joining sister magazine Xbox Gamer as deputy editor last year.
