Oxford Courier publisher Trimedia Publishing is launching a free newspaper the Newbury Journal.
There will be two reporters working on the title, Sam Henry and Amanda Williams
Oxford Courier editor Lawrence Webb, who will edit the Journal, said: “I’m looking forward to the challenge of the new paper. With the help of my colleague Steve Davies, who edits our sister paper the Basingstoke Observer, and his team, I’m sure we can bring something bright and new to the marketplace in Newbury and West Berkshire that will perfectly complement our titles in Oxfordshire and North Hampshire.”
The Journal is due to launch next month.
