Former Scots Mirror editor joins Talk107

By Press Gazette

Mike Graham, the former editor of the Scottish Daily Mirror, has
been signed up by Scotland’s newest radio station, Talk107, writes
Hamish Mackay.

Graham, who lost his job in December along with 22
other journalists on the Scottish Daily Mirror as part of Trinity
Mirror’s cost-cutting drive, will anchor the weekday mid-morning slot
between 10am and 1pm.

Also joining the speech-only station, which launches on 14 February, is Alex Bell, director of allmediascotland.com.

A former presenter of BBC Radio Scotland’s flagship news programme Good Morning Scotland, Bell will present the breakfast show.

Edinburgh-born
Heather Dee, who has worked for Sky, Reuters and BBC local radio in
England, will join Simon Pia, former diary writer of The Scotsman, as
presenter of the weekday Drivetime show from 4pm to 7pm.
