Food mag finds dotcom partner

Olive magazine has joined forces with the women’s website handbag.com to provide it with a new food section.

Published by BBC Magazines, the food and travel title will provide online editorial about food, which will be taken from the magazine. This includes its Simple Suppers and Food in Season sections plus a restaurant guide from Olive’s Top 100 list.

Handbag.com readers will be offered a 25 per cent discount on a 12month Olive subscription and the website will feature the magazine’s branding throughout.

Handbag.com editor Debbie Djordjevic said: “Olive recipes are some of the most inspiring around and I know that our audience will love them.”

In a separate development, Olive has appointed Hayley Ward as art editor.

Ward joined from Food and Travel magazine where she was art director.

Previously she worked on titles including Sunday Telegraph magazine and Waitrose Food Illustrated.
