Weekly specialist newspaper Financial News has launched an optional supplement, Private Equity News.
The new publication will deal with private company buyouts, fundraising and closures, as well as developments in the investment industry.
Financial News launched eight years ago and now has a circulation of 14,000. The supplement will be made available to subscribers who request it.
William Wright, executive editor of Financial News, said: “The publication fills a glaring gap in the market. The growing importance and impact of the private equity business means it needs a comprehensive pan-European weekly update.”
Financial News Paris correspondent Guy Paisner will edit the new title.
