Fiona Gibson, award-winning journalist and founding editor of daily international newspaper Insurance Day, has been appointed to the board fo directors of PR firm Haggie Financial.
In 15 years as a journalist in the specialist insurance press, Gibson was publishing director and group editorial director of Informa Professional, publishing division of the Informa Group. She is joined at Haggie by Peter Rigby, the former insurance broker and PR professional.
David Haggie, chairman of Haggie Financial, said: “Peter and Fiona bring with them complementary skills which encompass not only a thorough understanding of the financial and insurance markets, but a wealth of experience in understanding the needs of the media.”
