When The Press Association heard there was trouble at a neighbour’s house, the agency was quick off the mark. PA was the first major news organisation to report that Fathers 4 Justice protester Jason Hatch had scaled the front of Buckingham Palace – just a few hundred yards from the agency’s London office – dressed as Batman.The first stills were running shortly afterwards and it was also one of the first opportunities for one of the new experimental PA video teams, which captured the drama on film. This picture by Mike Stephens was used by five national newspapers on Tuesday.
