Fashions for the avant-garde

By Press Gazette

A fashion lifestyle magazine which seeks to promote cutting edge artists and designers from around the world has launched on UK news-stands.

Chroma aims to highlight artistic trends from a global perspective including avant-garde fashion, art, architecture, travel and design.

Freelance photographer Paul Coker is the founding editor and London-based independent company Jealous Nosh Media is publishing the magazine.

Marie von Asselberg, a former contributor to Tatler is fashion editor, although Coker will be relying on freelance contributions for the most part.

He said the target audience was affluent and aged 18-40.

“People are more globally influenced and they want to know about people from other parts of the world,” he added.

The 128-page title will be published quarterly with a print run of 20,000. The cover price of £7.50 will drop if the title manages to attract more advertising, Coker said.
