Former Times fashion writer Emily Davies has been dropped by her US publisher following accusations of 0plagiarism (Press Gazette, 31 March).
Scribner Publishing, which paid a reported $900,000 advance for her memoirs, How to Wear Black, has pulled out after accusations were made that part of the proposal was plagiarised.
Davies, who was dismissed by The Times last year following an invesitgation into alleged expenses irregularities, was also the subject of complaints by fellow journalists over some of her work.
