Exclusive for South Wales Argus

By Press Gazette

Tony Blair launched his Big Conversation consultation exercise with the people of Britain by giving an exclusive interview to the South Wales Argus. Blair spoke to Argus political reporter Edward Davie as he travelled to Newport. The PM backed the Argus’s Car Safe anti-car crime campaign and gave his views on local issues. Editor Gerry Keighley said: “Blair was in Newport to hear the views of local people, but it was also clear he wanted to get his views across on the issues that matter to them.”
