Scotland on Sunday has hired Tom English as its chief sports writer.
Limerick-born
English is a former Scottish football correspondent for the Sunday
Times , and a former sports editor of both the Scottish and Irish
editions of the Sunday Times .
Meanwhile, at The Edinburgh Evening News, business reporter Scott Reid has been promoted to business editor.
Reid
worked on defunct business daily Business AM before joining the Evening
News. His reporting slot has been filled by Rachel Hamada, a former
Economist reporter.
