SPC’s deputy editor Emma Reinhold was named Johnson & Johnson Best Trade Beauty Journalist 2008 at an awards ceremony held at BAFTA this week. Reinhold also won the award last year.
This year she took the award for her coverage of the skin-care market, which appeared in the June 2007 issue of SPC, and was judged the best by a panel of experts chaired by consultant dermatologist Susan Mayou and J&J marketing director Neil Dickenson.
‘It’s great to see the role trade journalists and trade journals play in the beauty industry being recognised,’ said Reinhold.
Wilmington Business Information’s cosmetics group has now taken the prize every year since its inception in 2005. SPC’s Jo Allen took the honours at the first ceremony and in 2006 ECM’s Anne-Marie Kruse was named Trade Beauty Journalist of the Year.
