Eve has appointed Jo Sams, former art director on Elle magazine, as its new creative director.
Sams joined Elle in 1996, having previously held the position of art editor on 19 magazine, which closed last month. Prior to that she was deputy art director on Sky magazine.
Sams replaces Dina Koulla, who has quit to go freelance.
Commenting on her new role, Sams said: “Eve has really captured the imagination of 30-something women, and taking the magazine on to the next stage of its visual development is the sort of challenge every art director dreams of.”
Eve reported an increase of 17.6 per cent to 142,382 in the last ABCs, making it one of the fastest-growing titles in the sector.
