The editor of National Magazine Company-owned celebrity weekly, Reveal, has resigned after just over a year in the post.
Sarah Edwards said working at a weekly was
“particularly demanding” and she wanted to spend more time with her two
young children and work on a magazine “with a greater lifestyle focus”.
She will be replaced by Michael Butcher, who has been working on
special projects at NatMags since last year, having previously worked
on Emap’s Closer and IPC’s Now.

Edwards said: “Handing in my notice was an agonizing decision. However, I feel I have completed my brief as launch editor.
“I have had a fantastic time at ACP-NatMag and am proud of what Reveal has become.”
NatMags chief operating officer Jessica Burley
said: “We are lucky to have someone so perfectly qualified for the role
of editor on Reveal inside our company.
