Edgecliffe-Johnson made deputy news editor

Andrew Edgecliffe-Johnson has been made deputy news editor at the Financial Times, replacing Tracy Corrigan, who is now editor of FT.com.

Since February, Edgecliffe-Johnson has edited Inside Track. He has also been New York correspondent, Lex columnist and a UK companies reporter.
