TalkSPORT has signed Scottish sports broadcasting veteran Bill Young for its weekday drivetime 4-7pm slot from this week.
Young, previously presenter on talkSPORT’s Football First and 505 programmes, has moved from Real Radio in Glasgow, where he presented a football phone-in show with former Scottish goalkeeper Alan Rough.
He has also presented highly rated shows for Newcastle’s Metro Radio, Scot FM, and radio stations in the USA and Canada.
Young said the drivetime show “laces entertainment with news and views”. He takes over from Richard Kaufman, who is going to freelance.
