Just a week after Mark Daly won the young journalist of the year award at the Royal Television Society journalism awards, his documentary film the Secret Policeman has been shortlisted in the RTS Programme Awards.
The BBC’s exposé of racial hatred among police recruits will compete with ITV’s Living With Michael Jackson and BBC One’s One Life: Size Doesn’t Matter.
The awards will be presented on 16 March at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
