By Press Gazette

City AM, the London-based free business, has boosted its circulation by 19.4 per cent according to the latest circulation figures from ABC.

The paper, which launched in September 2005 with a launch circulation of 69,035, distributed an average of 82,459 copies per day in May, up from 78,775 in April.

The paper is handed out free in London's business and financial areas including the City and Canary Wharf, and is available at business headquarters such as Visa International, Disney and Landflex.

City AM chief executive Jens Torpe said: "Our daily pick up at business hot spots has grown from both our established hand distribution team and direct corporate delivery and I'm confident that we will continue to show further growth in the coming months."
