Changearound at Filipacchi’s Red magazine

Hachette Filipacchi has announced several appointments and promotions at Red, its glossy women’s magazine.

Hannah Vere, acting art editor at Slimming, will become senior designer from 5 September.

Claire
Sweeting, who has been working on BBC Worldwide’s children’s titles,
becomes a senior sub-editor at the magazine on 27 September.

Jemima
Fairclough has been appointed fashion and shopping assistant following
a work placement in the fashion department. She had previously done an
internship at Hachette’s B magazine.

Regular contributor Deborah
Brett will be acting fashion director while Nicola Rose is on maternity
leave from October. Brett’s last job was as fashion editor at Harpers
& Queen and she has also written for The Times.

From 30
August, Janine Phillipson takes up the role of acting beauty director,
covering maternity leave for Rosie Green, who joined Red from
stablemate Elle earlier this year. Phillipson’s previous job was as
beauty director at NatMags’ She and Zest.
