Motor Boat & Yachting celebrates its 100th anniversary next month.
The special edition will include a retrospective look at the past 100 years of motor boating, a list of the 100 best motor boats and a review of the century’s motorboat designers.
The title’s website will also feature 200 pictures covering 10 decades of the magazine’s covers and photographs.
Editor Tom Isitt said: “In the boom times, the fortunes of motor boating and Motor Boat & Yachting have gone from strength to strength. But we’ve also had two world wars to get through, fuel rationing and full-scale recessions, yet despite these, Motor Boat & Yachting has been a constant companion to the recreational motor boater.”
The IPC title has several events lined up for the summer, including a black-tie dinner at the Southampton Boat Show and the Motor Boat & Yachting Centenary Festival of Power.
