Antunes lands top role at Fortune

Former Fleet Street journalist Xana Antunes is joining Time Inc in a top job at Fortune magazine.

A former reporter on the Evening Standard, The Independent and a newscaster on Channel 4, she moved to the US in 1995 to join the New York Post as deputy business editor.

She rose to be editor of the paper, a job she held from 1999 to 2001. She will be one of three executive editors at Fortune. Her specific job will be editing the “front of the book” and special features.
