Amoore moves to business role at Sun Tel

Topaz Amoore has been moved from foreign editor at The Sunday
Telegraph to assistant editor (business culture)n with a brief to take
on the Financial Times’ How to Spend It supplement.

Sunday Telegraph editor Sarah Sands said: “Topaz personifies the Sunday Telegraph slogan of brains and beauty.

She has done a terrific job in business journalism and foreign editing. She is also interested in style and fashion.

In her new role she will write and commission across the paper, particularly contributing to the City pages.”

She
added: “The twin themes of braining up and being more aesthetically
pleasing will become increasingly evident in The Sunday Telegraph.”

Deputy foreign editor David Wastell has been promoted to foreign editor.
