Leicester Mercury covers Premier League victory celebrations with 160-page Sunday edition

By Dominic Ponsford

The Leicester Mercury brought out a Sunday edition yesterday marking the moment Leicester City captain Wes Morgan lifted the Premier League trophy.

The updated version of Saturday’s paper runs to 160 pages including in-depth reports and photos from the King Power stadium and the streets of Leicester on Saturday.

Priced at 75p, the edition also features a report from rugby club Leicester Tigers’ final match of their Aviva Premiership season at Bath and all the other weekend news.

Today (Monday) the Mercury followed-up with more analysis and reaction in a 28-page pull-out.

Last Monday news that Leicester had won the title prompted a print edition and sell-out and a special afternoon second edition.
