You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for magazines, previous editing experience, along with being editorially responsible for magazine content, plus any online activity, brand extensions, free gift creative content, layout and flat-planning.

Opening for web content editor (£18K-£22K). Possessing excellent written English, you must be able to write content articulately and have a background in digital marketing with good knowledge of blogging, social media, web traffic generating channels. Skills in SEO and PPC would be advantageous.

Design editor sought for Shout. You shall be designing page layouts using photography, illustration and computer-generated imagery. You shall be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, with good communication skills, and a passion for children’s market and social media trends.

Vacancy for deputy editor – food (£30K-£35K). You will be an experienced and passionate food journalist with knowledge of the food content landscape. You will have good digital skills and at least two years experience in a digital environment, alongside understanding of digital analytics and CMS.

Aberdeen Journals Ltd. needs trainee features writer. Apart from excellent writing skills, you will have relevant news and features experience, equipped with the versatility to work on lighter material as well as news features with a harder edge.
