The Financial Times has become the latest news organisation to be hacked by a group calling itself the Syrian Electronic Army.
The group has previously hacked the Twitter accounts of the BBC, Sky News, Guardian and Associated Press.
On this occasion, however, the FT’s own blog appears to have been hacked also.
A blog headlined, “Syrian Electronic Army Was Here”, was posted on the site this afternoon.
In addition, a number of FT Twitter accounts also appear to have been breached.
An FT spokesperson said: "Today various FT Twitter accounts and one FT blog (not more as previously stated) were compromised by hackers. We have now secured those accounts and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.”
