Jim Chisholm has been appointed as the new director for the Scottish Newspaper Society.

Chisholm is the former commercial director of the Daily Record and Sunday Mail, and managing director of Business AM. He has also worked as an international advisor in the newspaper industry for the European Commission and the World Association of Newspapers.
