The Guardian is about to appoint a New York-based US editor as part of an expansion to its operations on the far side of the Atlantic.
Editor-in-chief Alan Rusbridger told Yahoo! News’s The Cutline the US expansion would be “significantly larger than anything we’ve done in the states before.”
The Guardian currently has around ten staff in its US operation – based in both New York and Washington.
