The Daily Mail today claimed a triple campaign victory as the Government announced plans to stop car clamping on private land, scrap DNA databases of innocent police suspects and curb council surveillance.
All three issues have been highlighted by the Daily Mail.
On clamping, AA president Edmund King told the Mail: “The Daily Mail has played a major part in ending a terrible abuse which we at the AA have fought against for years.”
