The English language channel of Arabic news service Al Jazeera is to launch on Freeview from tomorrow – making available to around 10m more homes in the UK, according to a report.
The Guardian reported today:
Al Jazeera English is currently available in about 10 million homes that subscribe to Sky’s digital satellite TV service or have Freesat.
The service launched on Sky’s pay-TV service in late 2006 and went free-to-air on the Freesat digital satellite service in May 2008.
